Our retreats are designed to be safe, welcoming spaces where everyone is embraced, regardless of gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, age, neurodiversity, disability status, citizenship, socio-economic background, or any other characteristic that contributes to their authentic selves.

While we respect the autonomy of our adult participants, we must also maintain a healing environment that adheres to best practices. The use of substances during therapy sessions not only hinders the healing process but also poses a legal liability for our clinicians. Licensed professionals are required by law to dismiss clients from therapy if they appear under the influence of substances. Even when our clinicians facilitate sessions outside their state of licensure, they are bound by ethical and professional standards. Therefore, we allow the use of legalized substances only after all therapy sessions are concluded. Facilitators reserve the right to remove any participant from a session if they are under the influence.

Given the sensitive nature of the healing work we facilitate, children are not permitted to attend any portion of the retreat.
